She is the founder of Happy Moone Productions, a company dedicated to purpose-driven storytelling across film, media, and branded partnerships.

Maria’s experience spans both the creative and corporate worlds, with over a decade in client relations, brand development, and leadership. Her unique background enables her to develop stories that resonate with audiences while providing strong alignment opportunities for mission-focused sponsors.

In addition to writing, directing, and producing the documentary Finding Happy, Maria served as an executive producer alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Adrian Grenier on the acclaimed environmental documentary Finding 52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale.
